These Terms of Business apply to all services provided by Platinum Tax & Advisory Pty Ltd (ABN 69 694 727 458) (we, us, our).

Our services will be agreed with you from time to time, either verbally or in writing. We will only provide the services specifically agreed and are not responsible for any other services unless separately engaged.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, our fees are based on time spent, complexity and expertise required. Invoices are payable upon receipt. We may suspend or cease work if invoices remain unpaid.
You agree to provide complete, accurate and timely information required for us to perform the services. We rely on information provided by you and do not independently verify it unless agreed. You are responsible for compliance with substantiation requirements under Australian taxation laws.
Under the Taxation Administration Act 1953 (Cth), you may be eligible for safe harbour protection from certain administrative penalties where you provide all relevant information to us on a timely basis.
We are registered tax practitioners and comply with the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 and the TPB Code of Professional Conduct. We must act in your best interests subject to our overriding obligation to comply with the law.
You have the right to seek a private ruling from the ATO, object to or appeal decisions, and choose another registered tax practitioner at any time.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from inaccurate, incomplete or late information provided by you. Any estimates provided are indicative only and not guaranteed.
We will keep your information confidential except where disclosure is required or authorised by law, including disclosures to the ATO or TPB.
We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles. Personal information is collected solely for providing services and may be disclosed to relevant authorities as required by law.
If you are dissatisfied with our services, please contact us first. If unresolved, you may lodge a complaint with the Tax Practitioners Board at www.tpb.gov.au.
Either party may terminate services with 30 days written notice. Fees for work completed up to termination remain payable.
These Terms of Business are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
